Patterns

                                     Categories of Pattern Difficulty: 

Beginner: Only uses basic knit & purl stitches, along with simple increases & decreases and possibly knitting  in the round.  You likely won't have to learn anything new to be successful with these patterns.

Adventurous Beginner: Doesn't assume you know anything more than the basics, but more-advanced techniques are used in the pattern.  I give you help with all the techniques included in the pattern, sometimes with a written description, sometimes through links to articles or demonstration videos to help you through the new techniques.

Intermediate: Assumes you know a bit more than the basics.  Techniques include very basic instructions, but are not explained in detail.  You may have to find detailed instructions on the web if you are not familiar with, for example, how to work an applied i-cord edging or an applied lace border.  

Advanced: So far I don't consider any of my patterns to be in this category.  But one day, if I wrote a pattern that used advanced techniques and I did very little to explain these techniques in the pattern, I would put it into this category.
